Cooling pelletizing and die face hot pelletizing describe the two conditions when material is pelletized. Cooling pelletizing means the melt is shaped and then pelletized. Melt can be cooled by water or air. Die face pelletizing means melt is pelletizd at die mould and then shaped. Die face pelletizing includes air cooling die face pelletizing system, water ring die face pelletizing system, underwater pelletizing system and eccentric pelletizing system.


Air cooling die face pelletizing: material is pelletized and then drops into the air blowing conveying pipe and then cooled and shaped in the pipe or cyclone separator.

Water ring die face pelletizing: material is pelletized in the air and drops into the water ring flow, then cooled and shaped in the water pipe.

Underwater pelletizing: material is pelletized in water and then cooled and shaped in the water pipe.

Eccentric pelletizing: material is extruded out of the short flow channel and pelletized at die mould with eccentric blade and then cooled and shaped in the water spray.
